Mr. Steinfeld was very thorough and helped us to navigate a difficult and emotional situation. The first question he asked was, “What outcome are you looking for?”, which I appreciated. His legal advice was very helpful and he was very easy to work with. He was straightforward with us about the potential costs of our different options. We followed his advise and thus far things are going as we had hoped. We could not have navigated this situation without his help. I would definitely recommend him to others for contract issues and would use his services again!

We contacted Dave after a contractor we hired 13 months ago to install hurricane windows in our condo failed to perform. We knew we needed to fire him, but didn't know Florida Law. David reviewed our contract and determined that the contractor was indeed in breach. He wrote a letter to the contractor on our behalf and we were able to hire another contractor without fear of retribution.
David is extremely knowledgeable and after several emails back and forth had everything taken care of in a week.
I would highly recommend David. He returns calls and emails promptly, even on weekends. We will use him in the future again should the need ever arise.

I recently, and very foolishly, signed a service agreement without first having it reviewed by an attorney. I knew better, of course, but wanted it quickly "off my list" so I could focus my attention back to other pressing issues. This decision came back to bite me just 2 months later when I realized the provider was not fulfilling their end of the agreement. Now I was looking at thousands of dollars in fees to terminate the agreement early. Not a great position to be in.
This is the point where one must decide to just pay up and move on our to fight it out. The first attorney I contacted did not have good news. He essentially said I was stuck with it and had to pay up to get out. Dismayed but not defeated, I decided to get another legal opinion and found David.
The first thing that is evident about David when you speak with him is that he knows what he is talking about. He provides you with detailed specifics based on his in-depth knowledge of the law and gives you all the different options he sees available to remedy your situation in the best way possible. In our particular situation, he went over the agreement with us line by line and showed us where we could make legitimate arguments and what those arguments should be based on the law. He explained to us where the provider's weakest points were in the agreement and how to challenge them. At the conclusion of our approximately 45 minute conversation, we felt very confident in our position.
As a result of David’s expertise, we had the information necessary to challenge the provider’s threats and counter with our own demands. The final outcome? The agreement was mutually dissolved with us paying them ZERO!
David is truly a master of his profession and his fee is minimal for the wealth of knowledge he provides. If you need a genuine business attorney, then you need to call David.
